Pinewood Lake is conveniently located in Trumbull, having easy access to shops, restaurants, hotels, and attractions. New Haven is around 30 minutes away.

The Medical Center of Fairfield County, Bridgeport Hospital, or Sikorsky Memorial Airport is a short drive away.

A Quaint Community Lake

The private 60-acre lake is well-loved by its community. The Pinewood Lake Association has a great crew of volunteers that work year-round to keep the area pristine. Community members spend time boating, swimming, and fishing the pristine waters.

The beach on the south side of the lake is a fantastic hangout spot; it has a designated swimming area, floating dock, and boat rentals. Fishers may reel in bass, pickerel, common carp, northern pike, or trout from the lake’s abundant supply of fish.

Fun Attractions

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is a fun outing for everyone. With animal exhibits including tigers, leopards, monkeys, foxes, llamas, wolves, pandas, owls, and more, there is no way you will miss seeing your favorite animal.

After dinner at one of the many local restaurants, you can visit Bow Tie Cinemas to catch a showing of one of the newest movies. You can visit Seaside Beach, ride the Bridgeport Ferry, or dine at one of the oceanfront restaurants around the coast.
